Expanding within Panamax and Cape segment with new hirings in both Singapore, Hamburg and Copenhagen. Frank Mortesen appointed CEO of Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering (MBBC).

We are pleased to announce that we will expand further within the Panamax and Cape segments.

Therefore, in late summer this year a number of new colleagues in both Singapore and in Copenhagen will join the organisation.

We are pleased to inform that Christian Norup (ex Fearnleys), Sean Higgins (Ex Howe Robinson) and Victor Hsu (Ex Howe Robinson) will join our team in Singapore during September 2017 with a focus on Panamax and Cape.

Furthermore, to strengthen our established Handy/Supra/Ultra team, Kasper Stærk Olesen will embrace a new role heading up the team in Singapore. 

In Copenhagen Nikolaj Duch Jørgensen (ex Bidsted) will join our Panamax team early August 2017 and Andrea Organista will start as Junior Broker mid-July. In addition, a number of new broker trainees will join the various teams at the Copenhagen office over the summer period.

Our Hamburg office is also undergoing new developments. At the end of August 2017, Anders Højmose will transfer from the Dubai office to head up our newly established Joint Venture, Maersk Broker Albis Bulk Chartering (MBABC).




Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering is entering a new phase of developments and Claes Devantier has decided that going forward he will focus on key client relationships, strategic initiatives, new acquisitions and partnerships for MBBC in addition to his other areas of responsibility within Maersk Broker K/S.

In this connection, we are pleased to announce that Frank K. Mortensen has been appointed CEO of Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering.  

To ensure global alignment and an Asian focus we are also pleased to report that Claus Plougmand will join the Board of MBBC.
